Heart Cupcakes

I made cupcakes! Inspired by this heart cake, I decided to make a cup-cake version as I thought it would be good practice if I want to make a big one, and kind of neat if it worked out in little versions.

There was much internal grumbling during the assemblage, but the decorating was lots of fun, and I'm pleased with how they worked out.

The outside part of the cupcake is lemon-nutmeg sponge cake, and the inside is chocolate-carrot cake. Here's me checking I did the heart correctly before I decorated:

I like the messages I chose for them. I feel like they apply to life as well as cupcakes.
