Playing soul music in my kitchen while cooking, cleaning, and doing minor repairs is lovely place to add on to a classic pattern that people have walked for many generations. It makes me feel like "god's in his heaven, all's right with the world."

I cleaned Kippen's kitchen sink drain with her wire snake. It was highly satisfying. We pulled out any number of fascinating things, like a possibly chopstick, a popsicle stick, elastics, and endless quantities of gooey green hairy gunk. It pleased me to no end.
